Happy FunDay!
Check Out this Cool Technique for Coloring Apples with Colored Pencils
Happy FunDay! I hope you all had a good week. Mine was a little chaotic trying to figure this new camera out for the YouTube and Patreon videos – a techno wizard I am not. With that in mind, it may be appropriate to apologize in advance if the videos aren’t perfect. I haven’t made a video in a long, long, time, so there may be some shaking, focusing, and hand-in-the-shot issues. I promise I will get better as I do this more often.
For now, I think it’s we should all take a break, relax, and have a little “me” time. Find a comfy spot, grab something to drink, your coloring supplies listed below and let’s go unwind and create.
When I was thinking about what to color for this week, I thought about “In the Beginning” and what is the most well known “In the Beginning” story? Yep, Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden…and what got them thrown out of the garden? Right again! A forbidden fruit, which traditionally was an apple. So, that is what I went with; but, instead of coloring just one apple, I found this cute basket of apples with a pomegranate and honey jar. How fun!
I did have a lot of fun creating this page, figuring out the best colors and techniques for each element. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Download the PDFs for both the page and the color chart.
Note: When you print out the coloring page, you will want to print at a scale of 75%. If you do print at the preset 100% scale, no worries, you are just going to have a little more to color than shown in the videos.
Then meet me over at on my YouTube channel today to learn how I colored the apples.
(And don’t forget to hit Subscribe and Notification Buttons to make sure that you can readily find my upcoming videos.)
Stop by tomorrow and I will show you the basket technique. Those two elements should give you some nice private time this weekend to block everything out and have a little bit of self-care. The rest of the objects will be covered next week.
If you would like to join the full-length real time color-along, please head over to my Patreon community and select the “I want to relax…” tier and let’s color together!
